Rebekah's First Day Back at Work

Well, at 4:30 this morning, Rebekah left on her commute to Arlington where she works on Tues. and Thurs. On Mon., Wed., and Fri., she telecommutes from home. I began my first day on a new job as Cora's babysitter. For Rebekah's benefit, I decided to document the day's activities. This is what Cora did today on her mom's first day back to work.
She played with Carolina, her doll baby, a little while.

Cora loves sucking on Carolina's hand. It seems to be just the right size!

She played with one of her toys but had a little trouble getting that in her mouth, though you can tell she is trying.

During tummy time, she read her favorite book. Actually, I read it to her as she looked at the pictures.

Couldn't resist this shot of the panda!

We next moved to her bouncy chair. Cora had never been in this before and was quite amused by its options. It didn't take her long to figure out that she could get her feet on the floor.

She was absolutely fascinated by the music and lights coming from this part of the chair.

As much as I hate to say it, Cora loves watching TV. Here she is intent on "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" She actually got the geography question right about the state of Indiana!

I needed to run by school this morning to see the lady taking my place for a minute. The trip was a little frustrating to Cora because it was interrupting her nap time. So, we made a hasty exit from the building as Cora screamed. When I told Dustin, he said she already doesn't like school. Exhausted, Cora fell asleep on the way home.
