New Favorites!

I spend way too much time with my camera and posting pictures, but with Rebekah back to work now I am very aware that she misses Cora a lot. So I try to capture some special moments in the day for her. This has been a tough week because she had to make her 2 1/2 hour commute on two consecutive days. She normally drives in to Arlington on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but this week has done it Wed. and Thurs. This picture is so sweet I think with Cora wearing one of her summer outfits. I added a special blurring effect around the picture.

I love this outfit!

Cora loves tummy time and spends most of it trying to figure out how to move forward. She has the pushing with her feet part down, but is still trying to figure out what to do with the arms. Right now, she just gets mad that she doesn't get as far as she would like.

Her favorite part of tummy time is book time. She absolutely loves this new book, especially the big pumpkins!

On Sunday afternoon, Dustin and Rebekah joined us at the Boots and BarBQ fun which was held in Northumberland County. It is a fundraiser for the Northern Neck Land Conservancy. You don't have to wear boots to go, but we found a cute little pair for Cora to compliment her jean jumper. She was ready for the event, but in the photos you see her enjoying the turkey calling contest. I love the picture of her with Dustin!

These were taken on the day she was three months old, showing how much she has grown alongside her teddy bear which Great Aunt Vickie gave her.

Who was the big smile for here? Well, Papa, of course, who was singing "You Are My Sunshine."

Another one of Grammie's up-in-my-face pictures!

Cora is almost outgrowing her swing, but when she curls up like this she still fits. Precious moments of sleep, sweet little one.

When I bought this doll for Cora, I had no idea they would look so much alike. The doll's name is Carolina (for that team in North Carolina that Dustin likes so much).

When I see a headband like this, I just have to buy it. Cora puts up with my picture sessions right now, but I don't know how much longer that will last. So, in the meantime, I just play and play!

Sweet thing, you have made Grammie's retirement days so much fun!

Wearing one of her fall outfits, Cora poses during a golf cart ride. Notice how the wind gets in her hair causing it to stand straight up.

And we can always count on a golf cart riding ending with this...peaceful sleep. I don't know what in the world I am going to de when the temperatures get too cold for the golf cart because SHE LOVES BEING OUTDOORS!

Cora and mommie on a beautiful day when they took their last swim of the summer.

I love her feet!

Splish, splash....just wait till next summer!
